Managing Director
Paul has been the Managing Director of Charter Group Finance since the company was formed in January 2004. He is an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with the Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and holds a full Credit License with ASIC (License #398472), under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP).
He commenced his banking and finance career in 1994, when he joined Bankers Trust Australia Ltd (BT) in the Debt Markets Group, having graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) with a Business Degree, majoring in Finance and Marketing.
In his role at BT, Paul became experienced in all facets of the Australian and global banking markets and provided service and advice to large corporate and institutional clients on various financial instruments such as commercial paper, bank bills, government and corporate bonds, interest rate swaps, forward rate agreements, mortgage-backed securitisation and foreign currency risk management.
Paul combines his technical finance expertise with his knowledge of the home loan market and processes, to ensure that all transactions are completed smoothly and efficiently. All stages of the loan process are followed and scrutinised, as Paul strives to make the home loan experience easy and stress-free for his clients.
